SnowingColors … dale color! This is the first film about skiing and snowboarding to be recorded in Chile in full HD. Our idea, above all things, was not only to travel in Santiago and visit the ski resorts of the capital, but we also wanted to visit the South of Chile and see snow. Before we left we contacted Pablo Lama from Wicked South America and he gave us two campers to take with us on our tremendous one month journey through almost all the south. Chillán was our first destination with a group formed by several friends. We arrived at a beautiful ski center called Nevados de Chillan. The hotel was full because we were there for the busy season, so the first night we had to sleep in the Campers and park them in an underground building that has been empty since the earthquake last year. The best part of our arrival was that it snowed a lot and the next day we could not imagine how much snow there was. The quality of this center and the backcountry left us impressed, Tamo Campos and Thomas Santamaria kept doing cool tricks and a pair of lines off-piste. One day we even [...]

Chile is a country full of different weathers, you can practice nearly every sport you think about, and you’ll have the greatest condition to practice it. That’s why one of the greatest Kite and Windsurfing spots in Southamerica is the Puclaro Lake. This lake it’s located 70kms east from La Serena or 500kms northeast from Santiago and it has great wind power all year long. Some of our Wicked costumers had experienced this great place and we got some pictures from Chris and Fez (thanks for the pics btw ) Follow Chris and Fez’s example and come and have Wicked moments in Chile! Book a Wickedcamper in Southamerica and have a lifetime experience doing what you want to do!

Recenlty we had some very nice pictures (sent by two of our latest costumers) of Spooky, one of our 2 seater vans, traveling around Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia. This trip started in Puerto Varas (southern Chile), where they headed up to the north and went through the city of Curarrehue and Huerquehue’s National Park in Chilean Territory (near Pucón), great landscapes and pretty nice forestal views. Afterwards they crossed to Argentina through the town of Chile Chico and made it up to Península Valdés (in the Argentinian coastside). Still in Argentina they headed south to Perito Morenos National Park (near the El Calafate City), a place that’s well known for its glaciers and awesome landscapes. Then, the place to be was Tierra del Fuego’s National Park (near Ushuaia, the most southern City of the world). Finally, their 3 weeks Wicked roadtrip came to an end in the beautiful city of Punta Arenas. Thanks a lot to our Belgium friends Sofie and Kim for these great pictures of our supermodel Spooky!

From Quebec: Felix and Marie hired a Wicked Van last August. The following is their story: Hello, We are just returning from Chile after an amazing trip. It started in Santiago where we picked up Big Foot, our Wicked van and home for the next 4 weeks. It was big enough to fit all our outdoor toys (skis, snowboard, mountaineering and backpacking equipment) with us sleeping. So we headed south instantly to explore the central andes by ski touring where we found beautiful and remote spots such as Lonquimay and the back side of the Villarrica. After great chilean skiing, we crossed over to Argentina where we were blessed by a huge snow storm in Bariloche. We then vired due North through patagonian landscape up to Las Lenas to ski some last snow. We then hopped in Big Foot for a big ride and head up as far north as possible. After many kilometers, deserts, wineries and wicked stories, we were back in Chile via the so amazing 4000m high altiplano. Around San Pedro de Atacama, we were able to explore salars, lagunas and 6000m volcanoes all on our own. We eventually had to drive back south towards Santiago but had some time to stop surfing in La Serena and discover the nice landscapes of the Valle de Elqui. It was then time to part from [...]

Mike and Patrick from Czech Republic and Slovakia where looking for some snow adventure, powder and off piste action around the Andes. They spent 25 days traveling in a Wicked van through many of Chile’s ski resorts including Termas de Chillan, Osorno, Villarica, Farellones, Valle Nevado and Portillo. They were amazed at how close the ski resorts are were to the coast and how accessible they are (Farellones and three other ski resorts for example are just one hour’s drive from downtown Santiago). They went as far south as Puerto Montt and tucked into some seafood at the local market called Angelmó. They recorded the highlights of their trip in this fun video. Take a look!
